Provider's Day

This is the first year we will be hosting Provider’s Day at the TransOhio Transgender and Ally Symposium.

Our partners for this special event are The Ohio State University College of Social Work, The Ohio State University’s GLBT Alumni Society – Scarlet & Gay and The Longaberger Alumni House and the LGBT Committee of the Columbus Bar Association.

Continuing Education Units (CEU)
TransOhio has partnered with The Ohio State University’s College of Social Work to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Nurses. (CEU’s are Approved)

About CEU’s
CEU’s are through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.  Anyone with a counseling, social work, of family therapy license through that board is eligible for CEU’s. The Ohio Board of Nursing will accept a limited number of our CEU’s for the annual renewal of one’s nursing license in Ohio.

CSW is an approved provider with the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board  Social Worker: RSXX038706 and Counselor: RCX100503

* A maximum amount of CEU’s awarded: 13.0 (for full 2-day participation)
* August 13, 2010:  Provider Day – 7 CEU
* August 14, 2010: Workshop Day – 6 CEU
* FULL PARTICIPATION PER DAY IS REQUIRED

TransOhio has partnered with the LGBT Committee of the Columbus Bar Association to provide Continuing Legal Education credits for those in the legal profession. (CLE’s are APPROVED)
